“How did I get into photography? Well, here is the story. At fourteen, I took a quest across the United States, biking from California to Maryland. Accompanied by two family friends and a film camera, my passion for photography was born.”

“As an artist, I'm always trying to push myself creatively, but let's be honest, the magic happens when you least expect it. To discover something new, you have to try and try again. That's why when I'm not doing a job, I experiment as much as possible to discover new processes and collaborate with other creatives. The critical thing for me is to fail on my own time and learn from it, pick up the pieces and develop something visually unique. Workaholic? Probably. 

I attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco, where I received my BFA and was awarded ‘Best In Show’ for my Final Portfolio in 2012.”

My task on set is to collaborate with each brand's art director and execute high-quality images that capture each product's natural textures and sheen. The creative images we create require all hands on deck, from an onsite retoucher to the delicate touch of the cosmetic stylist. We often defy gravity through intricate set builds, but this is worth it for maximum image quality and control.
